So here are a couple videos from last weekend’s (mis)adventures. One day after work, I decided to raid the scrap pile, and I came up with a car hood and a child’s bike. I then decided to stretch my terrible welding skills and make them one piece. A friend and I then decided to take it out for a few rides, which was a ton of fun until I slammed it into a log and broke the fork on the bike.
Yes, we were both aware it was a very stupid idea. We had helmets on the entire time and actually kept the wheeler moving relatively slow.
I definitely want to build another one, although the next one will probably have a seat bolted to the hood-a couple of my farmer welds ended up breaking out of the sheet metal.

I see nothing stupid there.

One time me and my cousin strapped a kiddie pool behind his truck. His dad has a grass runway. Hilarity ensued. We eventually took it off one of his dirt bike jumps.

I love it. Kiddie pool, because why not?

Maybe something to drag on both sides to act as drag to turn front. At least turn handle bars to face away from you in case you go over the Bars forward.

It held up quite well until where we cut to put the rope in tore. Me and some friends also drug a canoe through a mud pit.

This iteration of the deathsled is no more- I broke it when it slammed into a log. However. Today I stopped by my local junkyard and paid $25 for a seat out of a Buick Century that was destined for the crusher. I have yet to determine how it will be mounted, but it will rise again!
